How it works

Survey & quote: Desktop assessment + on site check for airspace, obstacles and drainage.

Pre-treat: Apply detergent/biocide where required to break down growt

Use the appropriate water pressure to flush away the detergent and the debris loosened or softened by the detergent.

Rinse & inspect: Final rinse, touchrups where needed, and visual quaiy check.

Report: Delvery of photos/video and maintenance advice

Safety & compliance

Licensed remote pilots; operations follow local aviation rules (VLOS, daylight ops, geo-fencing)

Public liability insurance (provide COI on booking)

Site-specific risk assessment and traffic/pedestrian management where required

Electrical and roof integrity checks prior to flight; weather and wind thresholds observed

Why Choose Our Drone services?

Safety First
We minimise the need for working at heights. Drones reduce risk for workers and prevent damageto your building.
Cost-Effective
No scaffolding, no lifts, no labour-heavy setups. Most jobs are completed at a fraction of thetraditional cost.
Fast & Efficient
A complete inspection or treatment can be finished in hours instead of days, with minimaldowntime for your business.
Advanced Technology
Equipped with precision spray nozzles, stabilisation systems, and high-resolution imaging sensors.
Eco-Friendly Application
Reduced water usage and controlled chemical output lead to a cleaner and more sustainableprocess.

Surface Compatibility & Service Constraints

Our drone systems are suitable for metal, concrete, brick, painted cladding, glass and PV modules.

Delicate substrates are treated with low-pressure or soft-wash settings; high-pressure applications are avoided. Patch tests can be conducted for confirmation.

Operations may be delayed due to high wind speeds, heavy rainfall or controlled airspace requirements unless prior authorization is obtained.

FAQ: Why do I need to clean my roof?

In New Zealand, moss and lichen naturally grow on roofs over time. If left untreated, they can damage the protective coating and even weaken the roof structure. Regular maintenance helps preserve the roof surface and significantly extend its lifespan.

How often should I maintain my roof and exterior walls?

Every 1–2 years, depending on your location and how quickly moss and lichen tend to grow in your area.

Why hasn’t the moss disappeared immediately after my roof treatment?

After applying the treatment, we normally do not rinse the roof with water. The solution needs to remain on the surface to prevent new moss from forming over the next 1–2 years.
The product works gradually by penetrating into the moss and lichen to fully kill them — a process that can take several months. The dead growth will break down naturally and be washed away by rain over time.
